Why does the driver have to turn the truck around and spray with the curb on the drivers side. It would save quite a bit of time once he sprayed the first corner he should have backed up and sprayed the other side
It took way too long for that chipper to get behind the oil truck and then they only have one truck of chips. What a dumpster fire of an operation. Specially in that kind of weather.
The oil put down didn't look like an emulsion. Spot on about taking forever to drop the chips and no backup rock truck in that wind. Could be county crew. The oil driver can hold a nice line though :o)
What fogging oil are you guys putting out to be able to sand that soon after shooting? We shoot out QSE and the soonest we can sand is about 30 minutes.
I like how these drivers utilize their paint markers. I chip for UDOT and I've tried over and over to get my coworkers to use theirs but they never do. Im the only one who uses the markers.
I chip seal for Udot and these guys are amazing. If I tried to spray a double intersection with my coworker he would run me over. These guys should definitely be getting paid the big cheese!
